Christmas Wishes

On the very day of Christmas
I was feeling little low,
I had no one by my side to cuddle
Or celebrate the good times in a row.
There was no one to share the cookies
No one to share the magic around,
No one to sing a song with
And to share the gifts abound.
Then God sent you to my life
As an Angel from Heaven above,
Suddenly the bells started jingling
And the chimes ringing aloud.
I am happy to the core and thank you dear Lord;
For blessing me with a friend whose friendship
Is mightier than the sword.

When all the lights that are
shining across the town dim out,

When all the goodies that are
hanged on the Christmas tree are taken

Christmas is the time to party and fun,
The magical spell has just begun.

Families gather and they all make merry,
With cakes and cookies from the best bakery.

Miracles of the season will fill your heart,
It's the joy, peace and fun you will not like to part.

It's time to appreciate the blessings of the Lord,
And sing melodious hymns without any discord.

Share the gifts that are wrapped near the tree,
Forget the past and set your heart free.

The Essence of Christmas
Is not in gifts or cards,
Neither is it in any other luxury!
The essence of Christmas is
In love we have in our hearts,
In good thoughts we have about others,
In all our small efforts to
Make someone smile,
in all our generosity
And simplicity!
The essence of Christmas is
In gentleness and kindness.

On the window panes, the icy frost
Leaves feathered patterns, crissed and crossed
But in our house the Christmas tree
Is decorated festively
With tiny dots of colored light
That cozy up this winter night.
Christmas songs familiar, slow
Play softly on the radio.
Pops and hisses from the fire
Whistle with the bells and choir.
Trying now to fall asleep
On my back and dreaming deep
Tomorrow's what I'm waiting for,
But I can wait a little more.

A time to remember the gifts of the year
Of the sunlit presents in our earthly sphere
A time to remember what we've received
The gentle smiles like angel wings

A time to spend with those we hold dear
With friends and family all in good cheer
A time to laugh over things of the past

And remember why he came to earth

At Christmas time, we deck the hall
With holly branches brave and tall,
With sturdy pine and hemlock bright
And in the Yule log's dancing light
We tell old tales of field and fight

Christmas time is here again,
Children's laughter and
Christmas carol's floating through the air
I close my eyes and try to remember
My very first Christmas.

Presents and toys all around the tree
We all know tonight Santa's
Coming down the chimney,
But what does Christmas really mean?
Christmas is more than toys or trees
It's about being with families
And sharing memories.

It is at this time of the year
We are reminded of the true meaning of Christmas
That is the birth of Christ
And on this very special day
I'd like to wish everyone
A very Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year.
